For standing and walking:
Your UPRIGHT must be placed on your upper back for standing and walking.
- While standing and walking you may feel a small tension between your shoulder blades.
Your UPRIGHT can be placed on your upper or lower back for sitting.
- While sitting imagine a straight line through your spine lifting you up
- You might feel your lower back and core muscles working
- When you take a deep breath you may feel a bit uncomfortable because your core muscles are working and not letting your diaphragm go down, particularly for larger people.
It's important to note that based on body type and sitting position you may feel different muscles working, or not feel your muscles working at all. Even if you do not feel your muscles working, they are. For example, you may not feel your leg muscles working while standing but they are working to hold you up.
